As the days get shorter and leaves begin to fall, a home can quickly feel darker, colder, or less maintained if you aren't intentional about presentation. The good news? A few simple changes can make a big difference. Start outside. Keep leaves cleared from the lawn, driveway, walkways, and entryway. Trim back overgrown landscaping, clean your front porch, and add a simple seasonal touch like a fresh doormat or a few mums. Inside, focus on making your home feel **bright, warm, and welcoming.** Open blinds and curtains for showings, turn on lamps and overhead lights, and keep your home's temperature comfortable. This is also a great time to take care of those little maintenance items you've been putting off—buyers tend to notice them. And while a little fall décor can make your home feel cozy, keep it simple. You want buyers imagining themselves living there, not focusing on decorations. The goal isn't to make your home perfect.
